The goal of this cohort is to help pastors develop resilience by equipping them with adaptive tools in order to lead with more confidence in a rapidly changing world.

This cohort uses as its guide the life of Jesus fused together with adaptive principles to develop practices for resilience.
MODULE 1
STRENGTHENING Your Inner Life
The foundation for resilience begins with one’s inner life. Areas of focus in this cohort include the following:
- Managing Your Own Reactivity
- Define your “Spring back into shape”.
- Developing a Rule of Life
- Learning Self-Differentiation
- Learning to Develop Inner People
- Discovering Your Personal Values
- Defining your Personal Mission and Deeper Calling
- Cultivating Self-Awareness by Utilizing Assessments such as StrengthsFinder, Myers-Briggs etc.
MODULE 2
A COMPETENT OUTER LIFE
Confidence comes from feeling equipped and competent. In a rapidly changing world, there are skills a pastor can learn to build the confidence needed to navigate uncharted waters. These skills include:
- Growing Your Adaptive Capacity
- Learning the Skills to Reorient Your Church
- Learning the Skills of Reframing Your Challenges
- Learning to Listen
- Leading Your Organization in Loss
- Learning to Experiment
MODULE 3
A LIFE-GIVING COMMUNAL LIFE
The need to have relationships that sustain you personally and strategic relationships with those you lead. The following are relationships that will help you develop resilience.
- Personal Relationships Where You Can be Yourself
- Strategic Relationships with Those In Your Church
- Learning to Manage Conflict
- Mentorship
- Coaching
- Colleagues
